Foodie Vocab Word of the Day

ragoût

[ra-GOO]

A derivative of the French verb ragoûter , meaning "to stimulate the appetite," ragoût is a thick, rich, well-seasoned stew of meat, poultry or fish that can be made with or without vegetables.
